The + side of the coil is the one with all the wires on it. - side goes only to the igntion box. + side I think you have the fuel pump and all that hooked to.

Howdey. Welp. I got my tuning kit Yesterday. However i still dont understand to much on tuning. I scrooled tru the manule last night. Buuut Ack. Ill be the first to admit when something goes over my head.
anyways. So how do i tell. If my car is running rich, Or lean. And which one is safer to run? And. Since im wanting to start off with playing with mettering rods. What do bigger and smaller metering rods do? Which one makes it leaner and which one makes them. Richer hehe.
I know I know. More then likely i still half to do some more reading. But if you mang's could just give me some pointers or a gen direction to start in with this. Ill love you long time hehe. :P
D.K.
People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.
It will run hot if too lean, and if too rich it will wash your cylinders and thin out your oil. No real way to tell with out an Air fuel monitor, but I guess you could drive it for a week and check your plugs. Sorry I know its not much help.

if it was running rich there would be black smoke out the tailpipe wouldn't it?
Are you talking about keeping the wire in the connector where you crimped it? Best bet is to use the right size crimper for the gauge of wire you're using, and if necessary, put a little dollop of solder on where you crimped the connector down. Then, put some heat shrink tubing over the whole thing.
Also, use the proper gauge connector for the wire you're using.

It won't be super strong...as my electronics teacher used to say, "solder is an electrical connection, not a mechanical connection," but it'll help some. The real key is using the appropriate gauge connector for the wire you're using.
