Well give yall an update. Went got new igntion controle module, i said wth only 20 bucks anyways. Well, that wasnt it. I infact dont have any spark. Checked the coil by swaping it out. Didnt work. Put gas in got about a 1 1/2 quart worth now in the tank. Plenty. Still no good. Checked my fuel lines nothing wrong there. re checked plugs plug wires about a dozen times. nothing bad there either...
I dont get it... Any one have an idea? cause i done shot my wad.
One more note.
Usualy when i put my key on i hear two noises. One is a low drawn noise kind of a pur. thats the pump. The other is a high pitch noise kinda like the old pump. coming from under the hood. wtf it is i have no idea. anyways, that noise isnt making any more. It made it a secound ago. However it stoped agine. I tried wiggle test on a few wires. No aval.Last edited by DarkKnight; 05-30-2008, 09:06 PM.People should not be afraid of their governments. Do you have spark or no? Is the fuel pump running? Do you have 12v at the + side of the coil?86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

Went out and checked my volt at the coil. Now my reader is a bit off it's oine of them yellow things, and i have knowen that it's off for some time now. Anyways. Aye i have volts to the coil, it says i have 32. on the other side says i have 16. Im no guru on eletrical aqipment I think you guys know that, so i have no idea how to set the meter to be correct for checking volts on stuff.
Anyways. just thought ide share hehePeople should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.

Check your connections between the distributor and the ignition box. If they're loose or bad, no spark. Also make sure the box is getting power like it should86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

Probe the connections with the volt meter. If you have a paperclip, stick it in the back side of the connector and read from that86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

One more question
Hey mang's was woundering if anyone would be able to tell me why sometimes after i turn my key off the engine will stay on and sound like it goes one more cycle? It's not really a problem but it is a wee bit irratating.
In other news i think my Umm OD is on the way out. It's been acting like it dosent want to go whille in OD. kinda jerkey.People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.

idle set too high will do that. It should be around 700-800 rpm. Its called dieseling, basically the plugs are hot enough that they keep igniting the fuel even with no spark.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

+ rep to gadgetHe got it correct :P. Thanks mang.
Also i think i knopw what is causing my water system to leak now. You know the pipe thingy that comes out of the intake for the urm, heater hose? I noticed it had some water spots around it decided wth ill get my wrench see if it's loose. And indeed it is a bit loose. So in the AM im gonna take my erm, dizy adaptor loose and turn it around as far as i can and as tight as i can. Question. Are them things easy to ring off. As i dont want to do that and if memorie serves me correctley thats the reasson why its a bit loose.Last edited by DarkKnight; 06-21-2008, 06:54 PM.People should not be afraid of their governments. Eh, well i went and tightened up that fitting coming out of the intake for the heater hose.
That wasnt the problem i dont recon.
When it cools off probley after work tomarow ill check them hose clamps out for the wp bi pass hose. I cant think of anything else that would make it leak and land on the umm. timing cover.
Unless the t stat gasket didnt seal correctley.
Humm...
So if it isnt that bypass hose ill check that out.
