OK, just so long as you've got some ideas about how to give it the fuel it wants. That was mostly my concern, along with the crappy pistons and usually shot to hell timing chains on the pre-roller engines. If it works, it would be cool but sometimes people post crazy shit and have no idea how to pull it off. I wasn't sure if this was one of those posts or not.

Have not had time to work on this project this week due to weather and my work schedule. But hope to continue this weekend. Have purchased new motorcraft copper plugs(2 heat ranges colder than stock) to replace the platinums i have in there now. Just need to connect the wires, and install the switches, and start testing. More to come later.

I basically know very little about nitrous so i could be way off here...but wouldn't you want plugs that could handle higher temperatures then stock if your using nitrous? Just curious

FWIW, I had a cfi motor I converted to carb in an old mustang I had, and with a 100hp on it, it ate the plastic timing gears to peices, then the peices of the timing gear clogged the oil pump and killed the motor. So be very very cautious or just replace the timing set haha

You use plugs of a colder heat range because they dissapate heat quicker. If not the stock plugs may stay or get hot leading to detonation. You use copper plugs because nitrous will react with platinum altering their composition.

Just helping out a fellow rodder. Just hate to see your engine get killed over a $20 timing set like mine did. But I was young and didnt know they were plastic until it was to late, now I know better haha.
Oh, I see, someone must have been too cheap to add a $20ish replacement timing when they rebuilt an engine, and got burned when the nylon cam sprocket disintigrated.
2012 Mazda5 Touring | Finally working on the LTD again!
indeed, All I did was yank it out of the vic, did a carb conversion and shoved it in the stang. Then proceeded with the n2o haha
I bought the rolling chassis for $400, got the vic for $100 for the donor motor, had a mustang AOD laying around and had everything for the carb conversion I needed, then bought the n2o sniper kit for like $350. I had a fun weekend car for $850 sort of like a granade project haha I knew it would happen and didnt care and wasnt gonna spend money on a lopo.
Let's keep this on topic folks, getting way off target....
