what could cause my car to not start when hot?car starts right up in the morning when i get to work or any drive it just cranks

TFI module comes to mind. Could be other reasons though.Vic

What he said. Sounds like heat soaking to me. TFI gets too hot, and stops working until it cools down.Comment

I didn't know enough at the time but my 89 did the same thing last year, but knowing a little more now I think it was my warning that the TFI was going bad. Eventually what ended up happening is the TFI module finally crapped out on me while I was parking my car after work. I wasn't quite all the way into my spot and it just died like someone flipped a switch. Tried to start it a couple of times and it would start for a second and die so I figured it was a fuel issue. After ruling that out I found I had no spark, and with the help of my dad and another friend figured it out.
Luckily I was just getting home for work so I wasn't stranded, but the TFI module can seemingly up and die with little warning.Vic

Sometimes that is a sign of dirty or loose battery cable or cables at the ground connection or at the starter. Or a weak, on the way out starter.Comment

If it cranks but doesn't want to start, and the TFI and pickup check out, try the ECT or ACT. Usually even when bad, the car will start but it might have a hard time getting going.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

PIP SENSOR, TFI, ECT, ACT, coil check out.get code 11 koeo koer 44 33 94.got fuel and spark.it starts cold but after driving and gets hotand try to restart it just cranks over im lost on this so any more ideas would help

44 and 94 are from the smog pump, 33 is EGR. if you removed those parts, that will be why. Not related to the no-start though.
