It MUST have overheard me talking about getting a different car.... MUST have.
First, the driver's side caliper partially seizes, but it waits until I'm en-route home from the auto parts store to do so - and of course gives me no time to go back before the store closes for the night.
Then, mere hours after I take care of the caliper (also new rotor, bearings, seal, brake pads), the TFI module conks out.
Ok, get that taken care of today.... now there's hissing behind the dashboard. Vacuum leak, but the pitch of the hissing sound changes depending on which gear I'm in (Park, Reverese, Drive, Overdrive, etc - and not there when in Neutral).
So, yeah, vacuum lines behind the dash, as related to the gear selector.... anyone got a diagram for this? I imagine it's related to the unit that holds vacuum to release the parking brake when the car's put in drive.
Thanks in advance.... and if my car asks, no I did NOT mention anything about possibly buying a Buick Regal (or as my Crown Vic describes it, "That prissy whore...")
