That's what I thought...because I saw pan and was shocked but then you compare it to the exhaust and it don't look so big any more lol. What are the gear ratios on that tranny?

they are stock, they are either the same as the AOD or possible fractionally lower. I think the first might be a 2.46 opposed to the AODs 2.40

does a C4 look really short compared to the AOD?? Im trying to figure out what trayy my friend has in his 81 mustang.

with the big bellhousing it is the same overall legnth as the AOD. but the rear mount is closer to the motor.
