sounds like Mark VII LSC SE wheels.

Basically the same wheel, wrong offset tho. The centers on those are actually argent, which is basically graphite color.

I went ahead and bought em... probably wont do anything with them until it warms up. I wanted to go ahead an nab em because evidently they are only allowed to keep clunkers for 180 days, and i know this one has been there for at least 3 months.
I'll probably put these on the 85 and put the 17's on the p72.

I had the same idea about painting the centers black, and polishing the lip. Inspired by GNX/ TA wheels...

I was actually going to "obtain" a set of HPPs off of a CV behind a local Ford dealer, that had been traded in during Cash for Clunkers. When I went to get them, the car was blocked in... foiled.

So...how'd they fit? What do they look like without the center caps on the front, or have you done the big brake mod and put the center caps on?

Just trying to help. And judging by this from his sig:
"Soon (maybe): big brakes, 3.55L, shift kit, possible explorer bits swap and MAF conversion"
I'd say he hasn't done the big brakes.....yet.

                                nope, no big brakes yet.
I put LSC center caps on them, surprisingly they fit over the front hubs. It could be because LSC's had tapered-bearing front hubs like ours is why they fit
