      only actual fleet cars got the OD-D-2 IIRC. Civi cars could be optioned with the engine, but kept the trans.

          yeaaaaa..... worst motor ford ever made.. expensive to rebuild, and although 5.0 parts fit, its STUPIDLY underpowered and it would cost a fortune to make it into a stock 5.0 if i tried.

          i do have to keep reminding myself though. this engine however much a bastard size it is, is really reliable for me and gets me good mileage.
