I told you to do your homework on this swap, that i wasn't kidding about. one thing i see happening with all this , is that you'll need to change something . the distributor gear.......and you can use a roller cam if you want if your using link-bar roller lifters. you'll need diff push rods, but its doable. do yourself a favor, just get a efi motor and get that setup instead of having two vehicles down.89 townie, mild exhuast up grades, soon to have loud ass stereo....Comment

I'm telling you, find a 2150 in the junkyard, rebuild it and throw it on the Mk6. You'll be able to drive it and can have a totally fresh engine built in the meantime. That'll be the fastest, cheapest and easiest way to get that car running. You take off the CFI, throw the carb on and it's done. I think the stock fuel pump works with a carb but not sure on that, don't think you have to put a mechanical pump on when swapping to carb.88 Town Car (wrecked, for sale)
