    oooo, I got some more good news!

    My boss had a truck in the fomoco shop the other day and i went and dropped him off to get his truck today. Welp. I bought me a brass tv gorument... I think you mang's call it a bushing? Anyways...

    Dont i just take the old clip off slide the brass pice on and then put the new pin on???

      FIXED!

      hehe, mmm timing light got fixed I set her back to 10 btdc or whatever letters they are. Anyways. Double checked the timing after i put the spoute conector back in, and indeed it did move.
      ( Was a relife. )

      And then I tried it out about 10 yards or so No poping!.) And then i said o wth ill go give her a little rompin and went the other way about 150 yards almost full trotole. No poping!

      woohoo!

      Im estadic atm!

        New grommet is on hehe. It's raning turning cold here today. gonna try to waight for my underhood to dry a bit before i turn her on.. ( Or if i can find this big ass can of dw40....)

          No problem, mang, glad you got it figured out!

          By the way, what makes you think that having stuff be a little wet under the hood would be a problem? It's made to deal with the elements.

            Weired mang's very very weired.

            Went and got my batterie at advance. Anyways, car ran great on the way down there. i mean great.

            On the way back though. I got "Bucking". Im about 90% sure that it is from the current exhsuast now though. Cause i could fill/hear it come from behind me

            So ima find out how much Swane is gonna charge me to put in a H pipe and put on glass packs. Woldnt that be easer on the exhaust?

            The only time it would do this bucking though is when i gave her a little more gas going up a hill.


            Also, the other thing now is she just flat stalls when you come to a complete stop. So ima get a fuel gauge and check that. Ill prob do this before i do the exhsaust.

            This make since to anyone else?

              bad exhaust won't make it buck or stall. if you have cats, it could make it run hot and have no power, but I think you got rid of those didn't you?

                Are there any vacuum leaks? That could explain the bucking and the stalling at idle.

                  :-? Humm Im thinking then. It never use to stall with the timing set at base so im blank on that idea.

                  I dont have a hocky puck either atm. And it has been rather cold today. Could that be the problem with the stalling? ( Even though the engine was warm.)

                    Allrighty ill try that. Just a bump though. Humm, Also. cant find much info on curb idle. Would it stall if the curb idle is to low? ( I know i played with that a whille backa s well.)
                    And ofc Im still woundering if it had low fuel pressure if it would stall hehe. Or buck for that matter.

                      Hockey puck is mostly for warmup, once you've had it running a bit it should not be on the high idle cam, so I doubt thats really the problem. Might want to look into pete's mod for switching the idle up a little. It might just be the fix you need.

                        Humm tried that Pete mang mod hehe. Dosent work on mine I still got it hooked up though!. ( Thinking that might be my stalling prob and indeed i need to put it back the way it was. )

                          if that doesn't do anything on your car, its possible that throttle kicker thing is bad or not hooked up, and thats the whole problem.

                                Made a discovery

                                Aye, just saw something i never saw before.

                                ( Indeed i do still have poping....)

                                Anyways, the discovery was this. ( It's cold out )
                                Took my breather off so i could put my wires back on. anyways. got them on. And I wanted to check my anti freeze so i done that. Needed some so i drained a tad and then put some in.

                                Anyways. i started her up to cycle the anti freeze.
                                Well she stalled I was expecting this. Due to it was cold.

                                Well What i saw next got me to thinking. O yea what i saw was exhaust coming back tru the CFI.

                                Im really begging to think The exhaust is to limiting for her. I know it's duals. But it has no H. And as Bryan said it really should have an H like his ol vele needed.

                                To boot, it's stock mufflers. ( Not the one's that came on it.. But well there just called that. )


                                Does this add up? Or am i just thinking over my head?

                                The poping is actually backfire im sure now..
