The block is kinda rusty, so I'll have to take care of that first.

Well, more like a wire brush cause there ain't no way I'm putting that glass bead anywhere near that block. Here are some updates. Minus pictures sorry guys, forgot the camera. I'm in the process of disassembling the motor, and damn, those stock manifolds are fucking super restrictive!!! So far, everything's going pretty smoothly, except for a broken bolt in the head on the intake side, and broken screw in the upper intake. This motor has the GT40P heads, and also the intake manifold set with the integral egr passages. All is well. lol

I like to paint motors ford grey so they look factory
you should get a baby comp cam for it
I wouldnt waste any time with manifolds or stock mustang headers
some roller rockers would be a nice addition
if you can at school, mill the heads and get the compression up

And then I'd run the stock panther manifolds. And I'm not spending extra money on GT-40 heads because for that amount I could get the headers I'd need for the P heads. AND It doesn't change the fact that I don't have the money for an exhaust set up right now. And besides, the GT-40P heads produce more power due to their differences in the spark plug angle.

what I was saying is you should have looked for a motor that had gt40 heads from the get go.
if you need a shortblock, thats one thing, but by the time you buy p heads and p headers, you couldve just bought a good set of heads
to me putting slightly better haeds on a motor only to slam the door with a manifold makes no sense. even the explorer has a header on it, not a super header, but worlds better than a manifold
its all about a combination of parts that compliment each other
you cant eat if you cant shit
