Im trying to find out if a throttle position sensor off of an 85 marquis would fit on my 83. Symptoms all match up so i know the sensor is my issue and pull n save has nothing for me this time round. Thank you much everyone!

I think the plug is different, but it will probably work physically and electrically if you adapt it.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

doubt an adapter exists. You could DIY one easy enough. Lop the plug off your bad TPS, cut the harness-side connector off a junkyard car, splice them together. Its 3 wires, not all that involved.
Rockauto has proper ones listed for $20-36 bucks though, so thats an option too. It shows some as being the same 83-85, and others 83-84, so I may be totally wrong on that plug not being the same.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

83 and 84 will swap, but 83 and 85 will not for the reason given above. The connector changed. Sensor is electrically compatible but won't plug in.
