    1983 Mark 6 Coupe parts

I'm going to be picking up this local parts car, so I thought I'd post up some early photos in the event anyone wants to call dibs on stuff and send me $. I'm keeping the doors, fenders, and the body side trim/molding, but anything else is fair game. I've also listed it on the FB group, so you may get secondses on the following parts:
    • taillight housings
    • autolamp vacuum solenoid
    • autodim sensor

Make sure to grab the autolamp relay, if it still has it, (do NOT remove it from the clip... remove the clip from the fender). Those things are worth their weight in platinum and made completely of unobtanium.

I spoke up for the autolamp vacuum solenoid. I'm only looking for it as a spare and to ensure it does not get crushed when the shell of the car moves along, so if someone actually needs it, by all means let them take it first.

I don't really need it right now, but I'll take the autolamp relay Sly is talking about off your hands if it's not too expensive and no one has a burning need for it. It's always nice to have a spare for the parts that have nonexistent stock.

If that is a Signature with analog dash, I want the piece of dash trim that sits between the heater controls and the radio. Long skinny piece where the buttons go on a digital car.

I picked it up today. The dash and front seats were missing, but most of the trim was just piled up inside. Found the dash piece you were looking for Gadget, but it was digital dash, so it's got the holes. Not sure if you still want it. Maybe I could repurpose it into a flip switch panel for the coupe when I go full-on drag mode with it [emoji846]

nah, I have one with the holes already. Thanks though.

so whats the story on this? Not too often you find just a shell for sale. Frame repurposed for some other project ?

Old guy took the frame, column, running gear and all, shortened the frame about 3" and put it under his Ford panel van project. Not my first choice in chassis; He had the car for ~25 years, so its just what he had available. We even got to load it into my trailer with his old Ford tractor [emoji41]

The shell was never listed anywhere. He posted a Camry or something for sale on a FB group. I just happened to notice a small corner of the window & top in the background and asked him about that instead. It was just sitting on the trailer since the swap and he hadnt figured what to do with it yet or if he even wanted to sell it. He originally wanted $500 back in August but I inquired earlier this week about it's availability, and it was still there. Ended up taking $300 for it this time around, and was happy another Lincoln owner was gonna get use out of the good parts vs just crushing it all. I don't have to sell many parts off of this to make it worth my time to get the doors/fenders from the deal, especially at current u-pull prices for those

Your Canukistan money is no good here. I only accept 'murican

Help me send it back from whence it came and make me an offer. Ebay listings don't give me much to go with, other than prices can be all over the map. The face plate will look almost mint with a wipedown

Got the tail lights removed and cleaned up for some glamour shots. Pictured spiderwebs are the worst of it. The other lens has less than half as much

Premium sound radio and Electronic radio from that era are the same other than the faceplate. You can switch the faceplate if you really feel some kind of way about it. I forgot to do it on the radio I stuck in the Continental. Just have to make sure your plugs match, later ones were a long flat plug, early were the 2 row square ones.

I was wondering about that, since I found some sort of separate premium sound switch panel digging through the dash bits left in the cab

Glove box and usable dash bits for anyone interested - make me an offer on any of it
