I might be able to do the 28th.
My only free weekend before then is this weekend.
I'll probably still be driving The Ice Car by the end of April since I wont have a chance to switch cars before then.
Find your Car, Pull your Part at Michigan's largest self-serve auto salvage yards. With 3 convenient locations and over 7,500 vehicles, we can help!
http://ryanspickapart.com/ (but their inventory is sometimes incorrect - their Facebook page posts walk-through videos when they put out new rows, though)
A little over a week away. I'm still good for the 28th and plan to see you there.
By the way, have we decided which there we will be meeting at?
The frequent places I've been to:
Parts Galore on 8 mile
Parts Galore on W. Warren Ave
Ryan's Pick-a-Part not from W. Warren Ave on Hubble
And closest to my home (with in 3 miles of home), but not my favorite: US Auto in Sterling Heights on 18 and 1/2 (they don't tend to have what I'm looking for).
Less frequent (farther from my home):
Parts Galore Flat Rock location
Taylor Auto Salvage not far from PG Flat Rock
Places I have not been to:
U-Pull and Save in Pontiac (not far from my home)
Regal in Howell (farther from my home)
I'm not opposed to traveling to some of the farther (from me) places, so don't let that sway the decision.
I think everyone that has been to either of the Detroit mini meets over the last few years is somewhere between Mark's (to the West) and Kevin's (to the East) home locations. Since Mark put the invite out there I'm good with him picking.
That and a combination of old age & leakage around the chimney. The garage was OK but you can't just do the house so that got done too. They certainly aren't cheap, aye carumba. Looks good and doesn't leak any more so woohoo?
