Box front sway bar question. Police and wagon the same?
Box front sway bar question. Police and wagon the same?
I have several front sway bars from wagons I parted out. They measure 1 3/8" in diameter and are hollow. Are they the same as police front sway bars?

The bar I installed on my 84 TC, which came from an 86 P72 which had never been an in-service police car but did have a large rear bar and 140MPH speedo, was solid and 1-1/6".
I am not immediately aware of which bar is on the front of my wagon.
what they said, functionally there isn't much difference. Most of the spring rate comes from the diameter, so being hollow doesn't affect it much. Lighter because racecar though?
