Where are the wiper fluid jets?

I need to clean them out, cause right now they're cleaning the windshield of the guy behind me. I could easily do it with a toothpick, but I dunno where they are or what they look like.

It's more of a problem than you'd think, especially when winter rolls around. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Putting it here because I keep forgetting to mention it. It's not very exciting at the moment.

They are at the base of the windshield under the black trim that goes from side to side.
You will have to remove the black trim to get at them.
The wipers are just in front of the fluid jets, about the center of the windshield.
Just follow the rubber tube from the washer bottle up to the windshield.
It will lead you right to them.

On a box, there is only one, approximately centre of the base of the windshield. It's tough to get at because of it's position. It is not adjustable but you can clean it out with a long metal pick of some kind.

There's a black plastic trim piece that doesn't fully cover it, but it has to come off. If you're going in there anyway you might consider inspecting the whole hose for it and seeing if it needs to be replaced. You'll use a couple small sizes of sockets to get to it, I believe it's 2 small bolts for the trim then one for the nozzle itself.

I am seriously considering converting to a pair of normal jets as the stock unit is damaged and does a poor job of covering the swept area. Stock replacements appear to be unobtanium.

On both my 83 and 91, there is only one. It just has a very wide spray pattern.
My 91 does hit the car to the right as well, as it happens.

my 88 only has one as well... yeah... VERY WIDE spray. I hit cars on both sides... for about 5 feet from my car.

I can assure you beyond a shadow of a doubt that it has two. Whether or not it had them to begin with, I'll never know, but it has two.

                      Pics?

Box Panthers have one washer nozzle as others have said.
Your car may have two but I would find it hard to believe that to be the original setup for a couple of reasons.
These nozzles are designed to cover the windshield with just one, my Ford shop manual discusses its location and operation.

Also every Box Panther that I have ever seen has always been setup the same with the one nozzle. If your car has two it would be the first that I have ever seen with two. It's a little hard to see in my pics but I tried to highlight it:

If he has two it's probably a retrofit or generic kit. I know the nozzle on my 83 was so jammed up I considered something like that, but I was able to clean it out so I kept it as-is...
Anyway the stock design is really quite decent in terms of coverage even if it does shower the car beside you. If OP is having issues with a retrofit system I'd say find an original one and put it back that way.

I never have read that bit about the oscillating action...I could believe it though, the sprayer is big enough that I'm not surprised if it has a moving part inside. Also explains why one nozzle is enough for the whole windshield.

I must say the jets on these cars are the most useless piles of crap I've ever seen. The ones on my Explorer were infinitely better.

my 88 works great... except for that little bit in the bottom left corner, but the inspection and tax stickers are there so me.
